About My Jewelry
I use the finest components in my jewelry. I am very picky about quality, it matters a lot to me that my pieces be elegant and sophisticated.
The metal components I use are either sterling silver or 14k gold filled. I take my time browsing gemshows to find quality gemstones and the
unique pieces I use in my Jewelry. Everything I sell I have designed myself, and created myself by my own hands. Often I even make the ear
wires, head pins, and clasps myself. Quality really matters to me. I do not believe in hiring people to mass produce my pieces. While I work, I
think about the people who will be wearing my jewelry, I pray for them, and hold the highest intentions for healing.
Most of my jewelry is hand knotted on 100% silk. I use silk for its energy or vibrational aspect as well as because it really adds to the earthy
look and feel of my designs. Silk is actually stronger than most chains. It is very durable- but try not to shower or swim with it.
Custom Orders
I love doing custom work! Please see my Services page for more about this. Custom orders require a non-refundable deposit. This deposit
partially covers design and parts and it also represents a mutual commitment to completing the project. Custom orders are not returnable.
Shipping
I use USPS priority and first class mail primarily to ship packages. UPS Ground Service is also available. I add additional insurance if your
piece is over $100.00. Please let me know at the time you place your order if you'd like your package delivered more quickly than USPS
priority or UPS ground service.
Repairs
I construct my pieces to last. They are intended to be lifetime products! Should your jewelry have an accident, you are welcome to return it to
me for repairs.
If your jewelry becomes defective within three months of purchase, it will be repaired for free (PROVIDED IT BROKE FROM NORMAL WEAR
AND TEAR). If it is past the three month mark, or was damaged some other way, I will repair your piece for a fee on a case by case basis,
depending on the extent of the damage and the parts and labor required to repair it. My silk necklaces are built to last, but everything has it's
limits. Please do not wear other necklaces with your silk pieces, naturally they will rub together creating friction that will break your piece.
I also do repairs on jewelry you may have at home which has broken, and I re-string pearls. See my Services page for more information.
Returns
It is important to me that you are happy with your gems. I stand by my jewelry as quality handmade art. If you have any problems with it - what
so ever - Please do not hesitate to contact me. I want you to be happy with the piece of jewelry you have purchased from me! Returns will be
accepted 7 days after receipt of item (by delivery confirmation date) for full refund minus shipping. Jewelry must be returned in new - unworn
condition in the same packaging it was sent to you. Please contact me before returning an item so that I know to expect it. [This does not apply
to custom orders. See section above for further information.] Please note that I do not refund shipping.
Sales Tax
Illinois residents will be charged 9.50% sales tax with their purchase.
Your Privacy
Any personal information traded with me for purposes of creating your piece and our conducting business remains private. Additionally, I will
not share your email address or name with the general public or sell this information for marketing purposes.
