a more counseling based session or what you might call life coaching, while others want intuitive guidance, some come just for the energy healing. In my experience most often I do a blend of these modalities. Please know that whatever feels right for you is how we should work. If you have specific ideas and needs, let me know. An example of a 'typical' session begins with a check in to see how you are doing and to find out where you are at in the present moment. Our conversation helps me to intuitively "tune in" to the issues that are up for you currently. I will ask questions, and will often offer suggestions based upon the energy I see in the moment. It is important to me that you know I listen with my heart wide open to you with much compassion. I hold what you share with me as sacred and confidential. At some point we may do some healing work (also called energy work). Not everyone does this, you don't have to- it is your choice. Healing work is done on a massage table. You will remain fully clothed. I connect with your energy field by lightly touching access points along your body. You will feel very relaxed as the healing energy flows through your body. You may experience peacefulness, a pleasant shift in consciousness, or you may even feel emotional as old energy patterns or memories surface to be released. You may experience various physical sensations throughout your body as well as feelings of love, gratitude, wholeness, balance, relief, peace or euphoria. You may even fall asleep! The intensity of the healing may vary from one session to the next. It is important to me that you know: All is welcome in the healing room. Whatever does happen for you here is probably what needs to happen so that you can move on with your life. We spend a lot of time holding back our words and our emotions... And, while this may have served us in certain life situations, this isn't always healthy or helpful when we are working on healing. The healing will continue to occur after the session has ended. It is like a download, and sometimes it takes time to receive the transmission. When you have taken the time to come for a session, it is good to honor your work by not planning a busy schedule afterward. Errands, phone calls, and a hectic pace are not conducive to healing. So take it easy after you leave. Drink plenty of water. Often, clients say they still feel the healing energy days after a session. Take note of any emotional releases, changes in a chronic condition or symptoms, dreams, insights, and occurrences that appear as 'coincidence'. These are signs you might not associate with your session when usually they are part of the process. And, be careful not to share your experience immediately following your session - keep it to yourself and for yourself until you have had time to take in what has happened for you. Often we exhaust ourselves again just sharing the experience with someone else. I call that, 'giving the healing away'. |
